Browser processing
Parsing and merging happen through code running in your browser. Your original documents are not sent to Gluecut or to advertising providers.
Gluecut is a browser-based document assembly tool. It reads, arranges, converts, and combines files on your device so the source documents do not need to travel through an upload server.

Arrange PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, TXT, CSV, Markdown, and JSON content in a single visual workflow.
Reorder pages, slides, sheets, and text sections before creating the final output. Remove anything that does not belong.
Save a work-in-progress workspace to browser storage and return to it later on the same device and browser profile.
Your browser gives Gluecut temporary access to the files you select. Gluecut reads those bytes locally and builds previews suitable for arranging the document. It does not upload the file contents to a Gluecut backend because there is no document-processing backend.
When every source file uses the same supported format, Gluecut keeps that format where the browser-based merger supports it. A mixed-format assembly is converted into a PDF so the different document types can share one output.
Word and PowerPoint previews are approximate because a browser does not include Microsoft Office's full layout engine. Always inspect the downloaded result before using it as a final business or legal document.
The document-processing functionality runs locally. Some site resources and the About page's advertising service require an internet connection. Advertising code does not receive your selected document contents.
Large files consume device memory, so practical limits depend on the browser and device. Password-protected or damaged files may not be readable. Gluecut is a convenience tool, not an archival, compliance, or digital-signature service.
