Document processing
Files you choose in the Gluecut merger are read and processed locally by code running in your browser. Gluecut does not operate a server that receives, stores, or processes the contents of those documents. Selected document contents are not shared with Google AdSense or other advertising providers.
Local browser storage
If you save a workspace, its data is stored in IndexedDB within your browser profile on your device. Theme preferences may be stored in local storage. You can remove this data by deleting saved workspaces or clearing site data for gluecut.app in your browser settings.
Advertising and cookies
Gluecut uses Google AdSense on designated information pages, such as the About page. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve, measure, and personalize advertising based on visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to Gluecut and other sites. You can control personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and learn how Google uses information from partner sites on Google's partner-sites information page. You may also review industry opt-out choices at AboutAds.
Consent in Europe
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Gluecut uses Google's consent-management tools where required to request and communicate advertising choices. Advertising availability and personalization may vary according to your selection.
Information Gluecut receives
Gluecut has no account system and does not ask for a name, email address, or document upload. Cloudflare, which hosts the website, and Google, which provides advertising on designated pages, may process standard request information such as IP address, browser details, and request timestamps under their respective policies.
Children
Gluecut is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service to process documents in violation of applicable law or another person's rights.
Changes and contact
This policy may change when Gluecut's features or service providers change. The effective date above will be updated for material revisions. Questions or privacy requests can be submitted through the project's GitHub issue tracker.
